On Saturday September 28, 2013 the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards held at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta.
The award was hosted by rap legend Snoop Dogg, with high energy performances from Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, French Montana, Rick Ross, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Meek Mill, DJ Khaled, Schoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Yo Gotti, among many others.
Red carpet appearances included Eve, Kevin Hart, Lil’ Momma, Nelly, Diddy, French Montana, Schoolboy Q and Jay Rock, while this year’s highest honour went to 80s rapper MC Lyte, who was presented the prestigious ’I Am Hip Hop Award‘ by Eve
